$15 entry fee per event / $10 students / $10 NZAC members / $5 12 and Under

This relaxed competition is an ideal introduction to outdoor bouldering but also provides challenge for experienced climbers. Problems range in difficulty from those suitable for beginners to those which challenge the experts. There is no limit on how many attempts a climber can make on a problem. Categories are:

Regional Series

Some years there is a Lower North Island regional event or series of events.

National Cup Series

Event 1: The Rockhouse, Mt Maunganui
24 and 25 May 2008

Event 2: The Roxx, Christchurch
5 and 6 July 2008

Event 3: HangDog, Lower Hutt
2 and 3 August 2008

Event 4: YMCA, Christchurch
13 and 14 September 2008

$50 entry fee per event

The National Cup Series of four events, is run by the Climbing New Zealand with results over your best three events counting towards your ranking for the Series. Entrants require a $15 annual climbing licence which DynoMites members can purchase through the club.

Competitors climb two qualifying climbs. How a competitor ranks in those climbs determines progress to the finals. Categories are:

HangDog's Winter Boulder Series

Fortnightly from Wednesday 21 May 2008 for ten weeks, starting at 6.30pm.

$10 per round / HangDog members $5 (to be confirmed)

This is a relaxed, fun bouldering competition, with problems suitable for beginners as well as more difficult problems to challenge the experts. Categories are:
